February 2023 Update
Hi all! I continue to work on Ory’s story. This has meant adding some relevant world-building, fleshing out characters, and writing scenes. I found that I was writing too much for the first scene without finishing the scene. So, I’m going to try something I heard on a Savannah Gilbo podcast: I’m going to set a time limit for working on each scene, and then move on to the next scene, whether it’s “finished” or not. In a lot of ways, that’s what I did with the scene summaries. It should also help me layer material that I add toward the end of one pass through the story when I go back to the beginning for the next pass. I’ll let you know how that goes.
I also took a class on WordPress. I’m planning some site improvements as a result. Stop by again to see how that’s coming along!
